Motorjesus spielen traditionellen Heavy Metal & dreckigen Rock’n’Roll kombiniert in ihrer eigenen speziellen High-Octane Mischung.
Songs wie das bretternde “Car Wars”, “Battlezone” oder das räudige “Dead Rising” versprühen eine leicht punkige Rotzrock-Attitüde, während andere Songs wie der eingängige “Hellbreaker” oder der hymnische Judge-Dredd-Tribute-Song “Lawgiver” eher dem traditionellen Heavy Metal der 80er wie Judas Priest oder Iron Maiden verpflichtet sind.

Im Herbst 2008 in Leipzig gegründet, gebären Caroozer einen Bastard aus Neo-Thrash-Metal, Sludge, Stoner und Rock’n’Roll, der auf den Namen Groove-Metal hört. Die fies sägenden Gitarren von Ben und Poelz wechseln zwischen präzisem Dauerfeuer und zähflüssigern 10-Tonnen-Riffgewalt, während Brüllwürfel Rich euch wie eine aggressive Bulldogge anfällt. Das Ganze wird unterlegt vom zermalmenden Schwergewichts-Bass Shabooboos und Michas groovenden Drums, die nichts als bier-, blut- und schweißgetränktes Ödland hinterlassen.
GENERATION BREAKDOWN [HEAVY PUNK ROCK – DRESDEN]
What a perfect start and fitting statement for a band foundation to interprete “I Wanna Be Your Dog” from Iggy & The Stooges for a tribute-sampler! So it happened in December 2000 when Generation Breakdown joins in Dresden for the first time. Since then they released half a dozen albums and played hundreds of shows in and out of their home-country. Personal misfortune and changes in the line up didn’t stop them bringing on stage their vision of loud and dirty Rock’n’Roll. After shrinking from a quartett to the classic three-piece you can more than ever feel their special intensity. They don’t try to act or sound like so many others do – and why should they? It’s all about good and fast Rock music – with the energy of punk, the heavieness of metal and sometimes way beyond. Generation Breakdown do what they can do best, if it’s on big stages or in a club, as a headliner or support (like for example Jingo de Lunch, The Adicts, The Bates, UK Subs, T.S.O.L., Marky Ramone, Los Fastidios, A Pale Horse Named Death or Mustasch) – because they want it, they’re able to and they just have fun doing it over and over again!
